CAS 10 min Christmas card
Hello everyone,
I hope your weekend was great! Don't you have days when you sit down to craft, and feel like doing some simple, CAS cards, which are rather easy to create? Well, this was one of such days. I didn't have a specific design in mind except that I wanted a holiday card using a new stamp set I bought. So, I started out with embossing with Violet pearl WOW Embossing powder. This gives a rather iridiscent effect on a white background and looks so shiny in real life.
I tore off the edges of the panel to give it some interest. Notice how the panel looks like it has been popped up on foam whereas I have simply glued it down. Next, I stamped the deer head and the sentiment with versamark and embossed with gold embossing powder.
Lastly, I used some Kokuyo Camlin water colour brush pens and dabbed some colour to get the effect that you see. Since it is not a perfect colouring and it's quite easy to contain colour in embossed images, colouring this was a cakewalk and so much fun!
I did splatter some gold acrylic paint on my main panel to get everything together.
I hope you like my card. Have a crafty week ahead!
Thanks for stopping by
Sweety.
