Mixed media card | Old Jalopy
Hello hello,
Long time, no see, huh? I had been away on a mini vacation but I did create some really great cards for you. Uploading it on Insta is one thing, but blogging about it is just something that takes more time.
Without any ado, here is what I made:
I have used a lot of layers in this card but there are certain tricks that will make your layers look more than you have actually used. For example, while it looks like I have used a lot of 12X12 papers, I have only used just a few scraps of paper. Just do not colour one of the edges of the paper, and stick it behind a layer. This gives it an appearance of a bigger sheet. So, you can definitely pick up your scraps from a previous card and turn it into something gorgeous. For more such tips, watch the video here.
There is a postage stamp on the main jalopy panel, giving it an old vintage post look:
It has some flowers but the great thing about it is that you can give it to either gender. I skipped a sentiment because it looked so complete on its own.
I will be making this into an interactive card. And will post updates soon.
I hope this inspires you and if it did, don't forget to subscribe to my blog. If you have any questions, please ask in the comments or mail me at: sweetygupta1203@gmail.com
