Anniversary card | Black white and gold

Hello,

The week has just begun and I am already on fire! I had this idea for sometime to create a card using the combination of black, white and golden. I got it from Always Playing with Paper Challenge#92. It felt like an anniversary card with poppy would be best with this colour combination. Here is what I made:

I used acrylic golden colour which has shimmer in it for stamping my image. Yes, acrylic colours can be damaging for your stamp. So, be careful to wipe it off as soon as you are done stamping. Also, I used rubbing alcohol to clean my stamp. As you can see in the pic below, I used the same acrylic paint to give a washed, painted look to my image.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I used some generic golden glitter tape to cover the edges.

Whosoever first used the idea of splatters was seriously a genius. Look at the finished look it gives to this card:
But, I think a black card base limits the use of the inner panel for writing purposes, so I gave it a finished look as well:
I hope you like this card and get inspired to try and use limited supplies for making wonderful craft. It's challenging and fun! :)
Thanks for stopping by
Sweety.
