Mixed Media canvas
Hello everyone,
Mixed media canvases can be so much fun! Because you get to play with such a huge variety of stuff, seed beads, acrylics, chalk paints, 3D flowers and what not! So, when I recently got an offer from a colleague to make a home decor object for him and his wife, I was tempted to go for a canvas. Here's what I created:
I used chalk paints for the background. Both pink and green have an ombre effect as this adds interest and instead of a solid single colour, it gives a more spread out look.
This is actually a huge canvas, as you can see here:
Can you see the little starfishes? and the glitter on the flowers? and the gold on the wooden chipboard? And the metal leaf? And a coin?
