Butterflies | 2 ways

Hello,

I have had Kaisercraft P.S.I love you stamp set for so long in my stash. The butterflies in this one are really simple and elegant. I have created 2 very different cards using these butterflies:

While the first card is modern, and quite dimensional, the second one is vintage. In my first card, I used distress oxides to colour the panel. And glued some foam flowers and twigs to create a branch.

Can you see the golden shine on the sentiment and on the butterflies?
For my second card, I stamped some brushes and then used the butterfly stamp to give the brushes wings.

Everything was again coloured using distress oxides. Same colour theme runs in both cards except for the vintage edges and pattern paper used in this one.

I then glued some pieces with foam, while some with glue.
I hope you like how these turned out.
Thanks for stopping by.
Sweety.

  4. Two fantastic cards using your sweet little butterfly images. LOVE the watercoloured background with the rose spray for your first card. Gorgeous with lots of dimension. Your second card does have the vintage feel with the colours you've used and the sponged edges which really bring focus on to your adorable images. Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge.
