Modern card using Pattern paper

Hello everyone,

Today, I have a fairly modern card for you. As a crafter, I have a tonne of scraps of paper, specially when I am done making a card or a scrapbook. And recently, I made a card using Papericious Incredible India collection, and was left with tiny little scraps and the main 12X12 paper also left in pieces. So, I decided to use those adorable scraps and make this card:

If you look VERY carefully, you will be able to see how there is a man on a boat in the base panel. :P I know you can't unsee it now. Hahaha. Anyways, I lined up similar coloured papers and fussy cut the floral images on the same paper to add interest to my card. I gold embossed the sentiment and used zari thread to add elegance to my card.

The tiny block with crystals is again a reused element that I saved a long time ago from a rakhi. Yes, I do that kind of miserly collection. :P

I hope you like how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have an amazing day!
Sweety.

2. Paru's Card Making Challenges: This is a new card that I made from the old scraps. And I can't tell you how happy I am that my beloved papers aren't going to waste! :)

3. Papericious January Challenge: I loved creating my previous card using pattern papers from Incredible India and somehow those old scraps were too lovely to be thrown away. So, I made this new card from the old scraps. :)

  1. Oh, I do like this! I think it is a clever, fresh take on the sketch. I love that it uses up your scrap paper as it was far too pretty to waste. Thank you for joining us at As You See It this week.
