Grungy Shabby card using ink and alcohol spray
Hello dear crafters,
Yet another Sunday passes by! With zilch realisation of its fineth praesentia! Shakespearean English and Latin cuddle up with my modern Indian Hinglish, imagine! So, anyways, cheers to a happy, happening and yet moody but crafty Sunday!
What I did make is a grungy but owing to sooo many flowers and leaves, very shabby chic looking card:
I had pretty peachy pink nylon flowers and leaves lying around and I experimented with spraying them with Little Birdie Gold splash and Mocha alcohol sprays. And the fabric took to this alcohol spray sooo well. I was impressed.
For the violet flower (to go with the violet card base), I used some Camel drawing ink. And oh my goodness, it's sheer beauty. The inks really shine through.
I also sprayed some of the leaves and chipboard element with gold acrylic spray, and used my brush to go over the embossed veins of the leaves with some golden acrylic paint. I used the same paint on the circle die cut.
Finally I embossed this sentiment from Kaisercraft P.S. I love you stamp set. The Love tag is from
DCWV "Be Mine" Paper pack.
I assembled everything on a paper I inked up using distress inks and added acetate as fun element.
I hope you had a good read and this promotes you to go and experiment.

Have fun
